Facial massage is a great way to ease tension, it can be particularly beneficial in relieving tired eyes and a tense jaw. We use our facial muscle all day to communicate with the world around us, so taking this time to turn our awareness inwards and nurture ourselves is very calming and centering. The Ayurvedic facial massage helps to release tissues allowing the connective tissue to become more elastic and freer again.
Performing a facial massage gently leads to relaxation of facial and neck muscles. This helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles due to depletion of collagen or some facial expressions and sagging of the skin, which is responsible for the double chin hence reducing the effects of ageing.
